Chloe Lace Up Boot and Motorcycle Boot

It's like walking through cobb webs back to this site....it's been awhile. My latest adventure was taking a dive into my food blog and keeping that dedication going. I haven't lost interest in shoes, but I think all that wanting and not getting exhausted me.

I had to do a post on my latest addiction to the Chloe shoe line....I'm waiting for some designer to copy cat these styles and allow me to buy them at more affordable prices.. :) I'm uncertain as to why they call that first boot a Motorcycle boot, as I have owned a motorcycle of my own for a few years and never recall anybody in their right mind wearing heels on a bike and not crashing. Foot Stability is important, but perhaps the Chloe designers do know anything about that. :)

I love the grunge boot, always have...since my high school Doc Marten days. This I would pair up with the most elegant sweater and leggings or short lose fitting elegant dress. You got to have some love for the European designers...

Without doubt Louis Vutton's BOOTS in first picture would make this a lady killer outfit....
lets take that dress the model is wearing out to burn though....or get rid of the bra, that's probably what's killing that dress.

More Fold Over Boots

I have to get me a pair of these fold over boots. In my search for the boot in my last entry I found a few other fold over boots I'm lovin. The ones in the smaller pictures those are from Barney's New York and Saks Fifth Avenue...out of my price range. The other two...are out of stock but I think I found them at Free People site. I need to find out how to get me a pair...

I always want something......but I really wish I had these in my closet... The last pair are by Ash and I've searched high and low and knew when they first came out that I should have retained them. I can just kick myself as I can not find them anywhere....

I wish the day would come when I can fill up a shopping carts worth of shoes in one hit at Nordstroms. It would have to be in the Fall because everything is just mediocre in the summer style of things. In fact, I'm so bored of online shopping of plain boring and simple stuff because I haven't any interest in this summer crap and I live in California right? I was born to live in New York....or Paris...London....

I want to own these knit pants by Dolce and Gabbana but the price tag is so heavy I would fall over trying to lift them from the rack.

They would look good with my beautiful ankle boots too...I'm so happy to own these..Thanks to the beautiful model over at Fashion Chalet for introducing me to them several months ago, I'm still admiring them.

Thigh High Boots For 2009

I love the idea of a Thigh High Boot, I don't own a single pair and would love to have at least one pair to my boot collection. I'm madly in love with Luis Vuitton's version as commented in my last post but among other really fashionable finds are these by Rodarte, let me just say Grey is not a color I'm fond of but I'm willing to work these into my closet. I think the idea of the Thigh High boot is for women to get rid of their pants. I've read, women are wearing mere tights and a long top with these thigh high boots and clearly "leaving the house without the pants." How trendy? I love the idea, at the same point I wonder if the look can be screwed up pretty bad by looking like a first class hooker. I think if you know how to porportion the thigh high boot in with the longer tops and shorter length dress and tights it can be pulled off. I'm not sure if a person shorter in length would be able to work this look without looking like the boots are pulled up to the waist. I don't know, I haven't seen it but I can't imagine it also.

These boots have plentiful straps and that makes me love them!

Casual Gladiators

So I purchased my first sandal in over two years, I wanted to give the flat sandal a chance. I thought I'd invest in some casual gladiator's. I love studs and diamonds or some sort of bling on a sandal so I went with this pair by NYLA, I paid $24 for them. As usual I find flat shoes difficult and painful to walk in. I'm hoping I will get use to wearing them, I haven't given up on them yet.

Steve Madden's Toggle Boot

I had got these by Steve Madden years ago, I liked them so much I got them in Black, Brown and this light pink I have featured in the picture. It was the fur and toggle that made me love them. These are at least 4 years old probably more but I can't remember. The black ones are starting to fade and should be ready to donate soon or I can save them for rainy days.

I'd like to try to get some of these shoe shots in with my clothing pieces in the up coming posts. I admire this in other fashion blogs and I'd like to see if I can make it work out for my blog.

Vintage Stud Wedges

Vintage Shoes I never wear because I'm just unsure about them. For years they occupied space in my closet and as they found a place in the Goodwill box on several occasions, I haven't been able to get rid of them. Now that rivets and studs are out everywhere I just might give them a 2nd chance for a better impression. If only they were suede.....I'm sure to appreciate them more.

I owned all of these while living in San Diego years ago. They are vintage now... :) but still in new condition.. I know back than I liked the small 2 inch height on my sandals which is great because they work out good for a quick put together outfit to just about anywhere.

I haven't been shopping for sandals in 2 years so every sandal I've got is old.
